In a blue, furry flash, the first trailer of the live-action movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" finally arrived.

On Tuesday, Paramount released the first look at what a real-world movie based on the beloved video game franchise from publisher Sega might look like. It's also the first taste of actor Jim Carrey as Sonic's nemesis Dr. Robotnik.

All the classic hallmarks of Sonic the Hedgehog are present, including his transformation into a blue ball, speeding down highways with jolts of electricity strong enough to knock out power across parts of the United States.

But the reaction to live-action Sonic and his first trailer has generated plenty of questions, mostly focused on one thing: his teeth.

Some users took issue with the choice of music for the trailer: Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise."

Live-action Sonic speeds on to the big screen in November.
